z.01 etc files are part of a multi part zip file used to distribute larger files. Use winRAR or 7zip to extract them.
It Says the product is 27.5 GB why are the files downloaded only 15.6 GB?
27.5 GB is the total fize size once the library .hr1 etc files are extracted upon first launch of the plugin and clicking install samples. It then upacks the library to a folder you specify and the library is 27.5 GB decompressed.
My sounds arent loading? Cannot load the library?
You didn’t read the INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS.txt file and you probably clicked “Locate Sample Folder” instead of what you were supposed to click which is “Install Samples” however…
The hr1 files are not the library they are the files used to extract the library on first launch.
As stated in the install instructions text file.
But now that you have done it wrong you will have to uninstall the plugin and completely remove the Excalibur folder located in
PC
‘username’/AppData/Roaming/Noise Art Plugins/ Excalibur
MAC
Macintosh HD>User>’username’>Library>Application Support>Noise Art Plugins>Excalibur
Completely remove the Excalibur folder, reinstall the plugin, then this time instead of clicking “locate sample folder” click “install samples” as you were instructed to do initially and navigate to the hr1 files it will then ask you where you want the library put and it will extract the library. Then it asks you to relaunch then you put your serial in. But keep in mind you must remove the excalibur folder or it won’t prompt you to install samples because you already said no by clicking locate sample folder. Don’t do that this time.
